EQ And The Mindsets That Take Us Out Of Our Comfort Zone

Facilitated by Jill Idelman, C & A Industries, Inc. and Carol Horner, Synchronicity, Inc.

It is proven that most top performers are high in EQ, and EQ being 2x more important as IQ…gives reason that we can’t ignore continued practice in developing the skills of EQ! Understanding and adapting our EQ mindset in our interactions will allow us to move more smoothly in our interactions with others. Committing to an Action Plan by uncovering where we can work on our EQ Skills with a strategic focus can impact our growth in a wide variety of other skill sets.

Members will have an understanding how EQ can impact their growth in other skill sets, and how it plays a role in their work and social lives.  Members will learn to identify the structure of EQ within four skills and how to move and adapt in other mindsets.

Jill Idelman:  Career Development Manager C & A Industries, Inc.

I am responsible for overseeing professional and career development for our organization. I have the opportunity to design, develop, and facilitate effective training programs for the organization. In addition, I am responsible for the instruction, management and development of our organization’s Professional Development curriculum. I also help employees and their managers have conversations about career  development. Each employee has the ability to own their career and I assist in setting action items and helping provide resources for an executable Career Road Map process.  This highly visible position allows me to interact with all C&A employees, individual contributors, and leadership roles while serving as a liaison between HR and Training.
