Katie is a Senior Talent Development Specialist who partners with leaders and employees to build self-awareness, confidence, and leadership skills – so people can show up as the most authentic and successful versions of themselves. Katie has earned her Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD), is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, DiSC Facilitator, and has an ATD Coaching Certificate. She has been a member of the ODN Board since January 2022 and is excited to serve as President, continuing to elevate the organization’s impact across the Omaha community. Outside of work, Katie loves spending time with her three daughters and their mini goldendoodle. |
Liz is an accomplished talent and organization development leader with a passion for helping people and organizations thrive. She specializes in creating impactful leadership development and employee engagement experiences, with a focus on strengths-based leadership, navigating change, and practical, people-centered approaches to development. Liz is passionate about empowering individual contributors to build influence, take ownership of their growth, and lead from any role. She is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and believe the best development happens when people feel supported, curious, and connected – to their work, their growth, and each other. She serves as the Past President of the Omaha Organization Development Network (ODN), where she is committed to building community, fostering connection, and advancing the practice of OD. Outside of work, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons, and their ornery dog. |
Amy has been a member of Omaha ODN since 2017 and is out current Treasurer. She owns OneStep Coaching & Consulting, LLC. Through her leadership coaching and development programs she helps new and mid--level leaders go from "doing the work" to leading people well. Amy is an ICF Certified coach as well as a certified facilitator of Personify Leadership, Emergenetics, and a Prosci Change Management Practitioner. She spends spring and summer at the baseball fields watching her boys play, enjoys red wine with friends, and is becoming quite the home DIY guru. |
June first started her training career almost 20 years ago, as a Training Specialist. Since then, she has held roles in Training, Learning & Talent Development, and Education. She currently works as an Instructional Designer at Foundation Building Materials. She also works as an Adjunct Professor at Bellevue University, where she teaches a wide variety of Communications courses. June holds a master’s degree in communications, as well as a second master’s degree in organizational leadership and development. |
Pati is a learning and development professional with over 20 years of experience in all facets of talent development. Her passions center on serving others and helping them reach their full potential through learning, coaching, mentoring, creating environments where individuals can thrive, and knowledge management. Pati holds a Masters in Communication and in Organizational Performance, and a Ph.D. in Human Capital Management. She is currently working as an HR Knowledge Management Lead with Omnicom and, true to form, is continuing her quest for learning and growing with new systems and processes. Pati has previously served with a local non-profit in membership, marketing, and programming, and has been a member of Omaha ODN since 2012. She knows the value that an organization like ours brings to its members and looks forward to upholding the tradition of great programming that members have grown to expect and appreciate. |
Sarah Phelps is the founder of Sarah Phelps Consulting and creator of "Forensic Organizational Development," an innovative methodology that uses research on every aspect of an org and its market, deep interviewing and knowledge building with employees and stakeholders, and years of experience in training, program development, facilitation, DEIBJ, board of directors, executive leadership and coaching to create solutions that are wholly unique to each business. She has special depth of knowledge and experience in healthcare, nonprofits, agriculture, B corps, innovation think tanks and advocacy, as well as certifications in HR Business Partner, Strategic AI in Business, and People Experience and Culture Strategist. Sarah's approach centers on equitable, sustainable change through training, program development, facilitation, DEIBJ integration, board governance, and executive leadership coaching. Known for her honest, bold, discerning and empathetic style, she fosters brave conversations in growth-oriented spaces and excels at identifying the unique genius of individuals and organizations. She serves as Vice Chair of UmbrellaND, DEI chair of Women's Fund Circles, and sits on the boards of the Bobby Byars Foundation and the Organizational Development Network. Sarah is launching the Emerging Speakers Institute in 2026 and maintains active volunteer commitments as a mentor and community builder. With degrees in history and international relations and a voracious reading habit (150+ books annually), Sarah brings deep knowledge and innovative thinking to every engagement. |
Carol became a member of Omaha ODN in June of 1999. She is President and Founder of Synchronicity, Inc., where she works with companies and organizations that want their employees, teams, and leaders to "be in synch" and make an impact. Carol is the creator and author of the Spiral of Accountability™. Her book was released in April of 2024. She continues to grow the Spiral’s impact through programs, blog posts, articles, and speaking engagements. Carol is an authorized partner for three assessment lines, including Everything DiSCĀ®, Five BehaviorsĀ®, and PXT Select™. She is a Rotarian and active on several other non-profit boards in the Metro. Carol enjoys wine and scuba diving, although not at the same time! She also enjoys exercise, sports, kayaking, sailing, and the outdoors. |
Jen Wichern has been a member of ODN since 2016. She is the Talent Development Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE). Energized by helping others discover and do what they love, Jen’s experience enables her to work on diverse projects including talent management, leadership development, change management, coaching, and training and development. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from College of Saint Mary and certifications in Emergenetics, Prosci Change Management, Advanced Consulting Skills, Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0, Intercultural Development Inventory, and Life and Leadership Coaching. Jen is also a past president of the Association for Talent Development Nebraska Chapter (ATD Nebraska). |
Katelyn is the Learning and Organizational Development Coordinator at Streck, where she focuses on leadership development, coaching, and creating growth opportunities that meet individuals where they are. She brings a passion for helping people thrive and a practical approach to development rooted in empathy and strategy. Being a member of Omaha ODN since 2024, Katelyn is excited to deepen her engagement in the OD community, expand her network, and learn alongside fellow professionals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and building new Lego sets. |
