The Art of Strategy

Heather Hain with TSYS Merchant Solutions

What is strategic planning?  How do companies really execute their strategic plans?  Do strategies really increase employee engagement? Come learn about strategic planning and gain an understanding of what influences business decisions and employee engagement. 

 

Heather Hain joined TSYS Merchant Solutions (TMS) in January 2007 as a strategy consultant. Bringing nearly 17 years of experience and leadership in training and development, strategic planning, change management, communications, she has grown with the Top-10 payment processor. As a member of the company’s executive management team, Heather’s focus on execution excellence has helped propel TMS to a higher performance culture and quickly positioned her as a highly regarded and influential leader. Her role has evolved to include human resources as she continues to influence the executive team in identifying new strategic opportunities while maintaining a laser focus on executing and improving upon TMS’s ongoing initiatives and employee practices.

Prior to joining Merchant Solutions, Heather worked for First Data Corporation, where she held senior director roles that drove strategy development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, communication and performance reporting. She holds a Master of Science in Organization Development from American University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and Family Science from the University of Nebraska at

Omaha .  In addition, she is Six Sigma green belt certified.

 

Known by her friends and colleagues for her generosity of spirit and unending optimism, Heather and her talented musician husband Rich share an acreage home with a menagerie of four-legged, furry creatures. She currently serves on the board for Santa Monica House.
