Heart-Centered Mindfulness: Real Self-Care Strategies to

Reduce Stress and Overwhelm

Facilitated by Amy McCae, Creative Wellness, LLC

Reducing the impact of stress and overwhelm requires self-awareness. Mindfulness-based practices develop self-awareness and cultivate compassion and curiosity, increasing resilience, well-being, and peace of mind. This includes exploring the synergy between mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and compassion and their impact on wellness, relationship, and even professional environments. Various practices as well as the proven science and benefits will be shared, and members will experience a Loving Kindness Meditation with reflection time. These practices can easily be implemented at home or work for improved wellbeing and workplaces.

Members will feel compassion for self, others, and the world. They will be able to define mindfulness and understand the correlation to compassion and emotional intelligence as well as be able to use the practices to reduce stress and improve wellbeing.

Creative Wellness improves the profitability and success of organizations by reducing turnover and increasing productivity and engagement. We are experts in creating a culture of wellbeing through coaching and training in holistic wellbeing, mindfulness, & empathetic leadership.

Amy founded Creative Wellness after spending nearly a decade ill with chronic illnesses. She had nine urologists and went to the bathroom 30-40 times a day. One day she was too sick for her newborn baby and had to crawl to the phone to get help. That day changed her life forever and she went seeking healing in places she didn’t even know existed and finally found healing through fitness, nutrition, and meditation.

Through that experience Amy rediscovered her passion for healing and helping. She now holds numerous certifications related to mind body wellness including an internationally accredited program that is taught in places such as Tesla. She helps industry leaders to reduce stress and overwhelm so they can have clarity, confidence, and peace of mind, as well as more time for fun, family, and themselves. Amy believes in taking care of people so that they take care of business and cultivating sustainable lives and sustainable workplaces that are focused on both wellness and business success.
